This has been one of my favorites so far this season. Have worn it twice already to have lunch with my girlfriends.
The T-shirt is self-made, a white version of the one I posted yesterday.
I love this slub jersey knit that I have not been able to find again in domestic stores so far. I've seen T-shirts like these in select shops with ridiculous prices.
The skirt is Grandma made, one that I custom ordered when I was a university student. I had worn a school uniform throughout middle and high school (which is normal both in public and private schools here) and had nothing to wear everyday.
I ended up not wearing this that much at that time, I guess it was too plain, but has recently become a regular member of the team.
The two tucks on the front and back make the silhouette not too tight, and the layered part in front gives it a bit of detail.
The necklace, I had bought in Rome when I had travelled there more than 10 years ago. And I had not worn it once till now. I have always loved the color, the design and all, but didn't know what to wear with it. Like the necklace stood out too much and didn't blend in with my clothes.
I guess there is a right timing for everything to be worn. Normally you grow out of the things you used to wear. But sometimes you are the one needs to catch up to the the things you had bought.
