The World of Hayao Miyazaki

I grew up watching anime movies by Hayao Miyazaki, "NAUSICAA of the valley of the wind" being my favorite.  As a child, I had wished that someday I can communicate with animals like her.
In high school, I wrote a 40 page report based on the comic version of the movie, after knowing the shocking fact that the movie was only the summery of book one and two out of the seven book series.  I remember how I loved writing out all of the serifs and how I tried to sound so analytic.

So it was a couple of days ago that I found one of his comic books "The Journey of Shuna" when I was browsing through Amazon.
I rented it at the local library.  I read it in about 30 minutes, but it took me to that deep Miyazki world again.  Unlike the beautiful watercolor pictures, the story was cruel, and made me think about it the whole day.
