Laminated Pool / Beach Bag

I made a laminated bag for my daughter to put in her bathing suit and towel.
I was pretty worn out making all of her bags for pre-school, and ended up with something very simple - a single handle to put on her shoulders and a piece of velcro on the center.

It was my first time sewing laminated material, and obviously it would not budge with the normal attachment I use.
So I went to the local craft shop, and got myself a new attachment especially for laminated material, which had a small roller on both sides.
The size fit my sewing machine, but somehow the needle wouldn't come up after going through them.  I'm guessing it was magnetic and was holding the needle down.

I then went on the internet for some help, and found out that putting some regular clear tape on both sides of the attachment will make the material flow through.
And it totally worked.
All you need to do is make sure you only cover up the surface that meets the material.  Cut off the sides and leave that space in the middle where the needle goes through.
