トルコ石の５連ブレスレット

夏には一つ欲しい存在感のあるブレスレットを作りました。
スクエアとラウンドのトルコ石がポイント。

木目のような模様が独特なウッドジャスパー、茶色く染められたコロンとした淡水パール、クリアなスモーキークウォーツ、そして小さなメタルビーズを合わせました。

一つ一つを丁寧にワイヤーで繋げ合わせ、アンティーク調のメタルパーツにもこだわりました。
大きさの違うビーズや天然石を使って何連ものブレスレットを作る時はいつも最後の長さ調整に時間がかかります。
どれか一つが短すぎるとつった感じに、長すぎるとたるんでしまう。
手首に付けてみては外し、根気よく調整を続けます。

トルコ石とブラウンは飽きのこない組み合わせ。

Turquoise and Brown Gem Bracelet

Turquoise jewelry are a must have for summer!  So here is one, combined beautifully with wood jasper, dyed fresh water pearls, smokey quartz, and tiny metal beads.
Each bead is carefully wired together, the antiqued metal pieces adding detail and finished off with an easy to handle mantle.

It is getting really hot here in Yokohama, not to mention humid!  I am still holding myself back from putting on the air conditioner because this is only the beginning of the heat.  Every window is open, and the kids sit in front of the fan, eating ice popsicles.
