日本酒を飲みながら

たまに居酒屋のようになる週末の食卓。
つまみに始まり、一皿ずつ作りながら好きなお酒と共にゆっくりと食べる。

煮豚を冷ましている間、日本酒をちびちびやりながら雑誌を眺めて一休み。
夫はその間子供たちをお風呂にいれてくれていました。

この日本酒、友人が家族で遊びに来てくれた時に頂いたもの。
ビールと日本酒とワインが好き、という話をしたら長野に帰省した時に買っておいてくれたと。
それにしても一升瓶（笑）
もう少し小さいものにしようと思ったのに、酒屋のおばちゃんに押し切られて、と申し訳なさそうに話してたけれど。
嬉しい限りでございます。

贅沢にもあさりの酒蒸しと煮豚の付けだれにも使いました。

ちなみに雑誌はブックオフで買ったもの。
基本的に100円のものしか買いません。
一通り見たらまた切ってmyインスピレーションブックへ。

Weekend Dinner with Sake

Sometimes we have a slow dinner on the weekends where I will cook each dish at a time, enjoying them with either beer, sake or wine.
Today, it was sake.  A friend brought me a big bottle when she came over for dinner with her family.   I had my first drink while I let the boiled pork cool down and my husband showered the kids, flipping through a magazine.  After I've gone through it a couple of times, they will be cut up and pasted onto my inspiration book.

I used the sake to make boiled clams and also for the sauce for the boiled pork, served with perillas.
